The IPX series is based on different relationships to the live music experience, from a meticulously executed composition for four bass (Sleaze Art) to gathered fragments of improvisations blending organic and electronic instruments (Mätisse) to beautiful studies in processes of digital saturation (Somaticae).

Les différents projets de Somaticae s’inscrivent dans la trajectoire d’In Paradisum depuis les débuts. Electricité collecte une série d’improvisations sur synthétiseurs et effets en feedbacks, retraités en temps réel sur ordinateur. Avec patience, les gestes du musicien font varier les textures, rendant trouble la frontière entre le son éléctronique et analogique. En tirant des sonorités proches du noise digital vers des séries harmoniques incertaines mais lumineuses, aux accents presque spirituels, Electricité change notre appréhension de la saturation. Elle n’est plus le dernier cri de l'ordinateur, mais une manière de ré-apprivoiser l'énergie du monde.
